AEOS, TOPdesk, and AFAS: one chain for physical access.

AEOS from Nedap Security provides physical access control within organizations. The system manages passes, authorizations, zones, and time profiles, ensuring that only authorized individuals gain access to buildings, spaces, and lockers.

TOPdesk is the process and registration system in which requests, approvals, and exceptions are recorded. AFAS or another HR system is the source for personnel data, functions, and photos.

By linking these systems with SAS, a single automated chain for physical access is created.

How does this work in practice?

4	TOPdesk registers the request, approval, and status
5	Data is transferred to AEOS via the SQL Import tables

Not every employee automatically receives a pass. Logic determines whether physical access is necessary, for example, only for office employees, facility functions, or specific locations. Exceptions remain manageable and transparent in TOPdesk.
