With the implementation of the IDU/IAM solution within the Service Automation Suite, Mesdag has gained control over physical and digital resources. Access, rights, and resources are assigned based on policy, laid down in processes, and made fully traceable ā including motivation and approval.
The organization was explicitly looking for not a classic IAM solution that primarily automates, but an approach that connects policy, execution, and systems with each other and makes them auditable. TOPdesk functions as a central point of control, while the Service Automation Suite ensures coherence, structure, and insight across the entire IDU process.
